Linda K. Johnson
Linda K. Johnson (Portland) is a cornerstone of the Pacific Northwest performance ecology, known for large-scale, site-based movement works that address our collective relationship to place. For C45, she presents a retrospective and program series at PLACE landscape architecture studio. The project features Mycelium Dream maps created in collaboration with peers, action drawings, and oral histories. By mapping relationships within the creative community and utilizing ritual materials like wildfire ash to dance in/draw with, Johnson practices an embodied form of archiving that captures the resilience and fleeting beauty of Portland’s cultural landscape.
