Vo Vo

Vo Vo (Portland) is a multidisciplinary artist and educator focused on radical pedagogy, trauma-informed care, and anarchist community building. Their practice spans textiles, print, and social engagement to foster local activism. For C45, they will debut a "vox populi" video project at Movie Madness and on Open Signal Community Access Network, featuring interviews with diverse people in public settings like parks and malls about vulnerability and their life’s best moments. This work responds to the theme of impermanence by highlighting how brief, meaningful exchanges with strangers can create a temporary community.
